30 days of rose tea
The energetic effects I felt
So, awhile ago, I wanted to do 30 days of rose tea and track the effects it has on my energy.
Why did I want to do this?
I heard on a podcast with Alexis Smart that roses are one of the highest vibrational flowers in the world. She formulates flower remedies and even talks to the flowers psychically đŽ.
I also heard Organic Olivia (another IG favorite), say that rose has the power to open the heart. She made a tea with rose thatâs meant for this very purpose!
So, I wanted to try it for myselfâŚ
Everyday, I drank 1 cup of rose bud tea, (it must be rose buds, not petals, that way youâre getting the full essence of the flower, petals are really just for decoration) and I did this for 30 days.
I got my rose bud tea from "Tao Tea Leafâ which is a tea shop in Toronto. Wherever you choose to buy it, make sure itâs organic and food-grade (hasnât been sprayed or dyed).
So I basically just took 5 rose buds every dayâŚ
Broke them up in my hands into a bowlâŚ
Then dumped that into a tea bag:
And then steeped for maybe 20 minutes??
Something else you could do if you want it steeped really well without getting cold, is to steep it in a covered jar (to keep the steam in) or in a stainless steel thermos. Cause I like it when my tea is thoroughly steeped, but still want it to be hot â.
SoâŚI did this for 30 days in a row.

The energetic effects
The reason why Iâm so into flowers for spiritual and emotional healing is because of my experience with the Alexis Smart flower remedies.
I tried 5 different remedies and could viscerally feel the effects! I talk more in-depth on my experience here:
To me, flowers have the power (!) to heal your brain and your literal energy field.
And itâs no surprise, I felt some similar effects to the remedies when drinking the rose tea.
Some things I noticed during my 30 days of rose tea:
I felt more connected to my upper chakras
In my âSpiritual Power Of Rosesâ post, I mentioned that roses are pure white light.
During the rose tea experiment, I found that I was more occupied in my top 3 chakras. I felt more âlightâ and âfineâ if that makes sense? Not as interested in things having to do with lower chakras, which leads me to the next pointâŚ
My body wanted pure love, not lust
This craving for pure love was also something I experienced while on Alexis Smartâs âIn Loveâ remedy. Itâs this feeling of ONLY wanting gentle, pure, loving touch. Itâs likeâŚyour body canât tolerate lustful feelings or being used for your body.
Not that thereâs anything wrong with lust! But I thinkâŚsometimes people want sex/intimacy for survival reasons (which is subconscious) and not for actual love.
So, if youâre someone who lets people âuseâ you for your body, or you donât have respect or care for yourself in romantic situations, rose I think could really help with that!
Feeling of being hugged!
I experienced this with Alexis Smartâs âIn Loveâ as well. It was this permanent feeling of being hugged! Like I was wrapped in love. I also had this feeling of âflyingâ which happened with âIn Loveâ as well.
(I wouldnât doubt that there was rose in the âIn Loveâ formulation because of the similar effects I experienced!)
Inspired self-care
I wanted to take care of myself more and just make sure that my body was âokâ. If you struggle with self-love, I definitely think rose tea could do something to inspire more of that gentle love for yourselfâŚand self-respect.
Takeaways
Rose inspired a very fine, pure and gentle energy đ.
And the thing I like about flowers is thatâŚbecause they work on an energetic level in such a gentle way, they also inspire changes in your emotions and your thoughts even.
I feel like after the 30 days, I generally feel more loving towards myself âşď¸.
I also think itâs important to take flowers consistently for about a month. As I mentioned in my Alexis Smart post, you kinda have to give it time, for the energy to build.
I will maybe experiment with another flower in the future. I have been wanting to try holly flower. SoâŚstay tuned!
