I decided to do a little channeling on roses and specifically, the “spiritual power” of roses 🌹🥀.
I remember listening to a podcast with Alexis Smart (who makes these really amazing flower remedy formulas), here’s my review on 5 of her remedies, they really work 😮
But on this podcast she said that roses have the highest vibration of all the flowers.
And in MY experience…flowers work similarly to crystals, where they actually can have a healing effect on your energy.
Flower essences like those used in Alexis’ remedies are considered to be the “menstrual blood” of flowers.
And I read in Womb Awakening that menstrual blood has healing, metaphysical properties…🤔
It’s pretty interesting stuff…
So… I wanted to gather some info on roses (and I was going to post this as a podcast episode, but don’t have the space to record right now and I find it’s better to write out channelings so you can see the pictures and stuff!).
Here’s what I found!
1. Roses = green
As I connected to the spirit of roses, I got a wash of green! Green kept showing up and this could obviously relate to the heart chakra.
Essence of rose is known to be healing for the heart. I know that Organic Olivia (who is my go-to source for health tips) has a “heart-opening” tincture that contains roses.
Green crystals usually have a healing effect on the heart as well.
So…
Roses can help to energetically heal our “heart chakras”.
Very cool…
2. War symbolism
I kept getting a lot of “war” symbolism when it came to roses.
I even saw white sparkles above soldiers about to go to war and saw this as the spirit of roses kind of guiding them and giving them that “warrior spirit”.
When I asked to see what roses looked like in their pure form, in higher dimensions, I just saw pure white energy. So they interact with green energy down here, but as you go up they are just pure white.
I also heard “sharp”. Think about how roses have these pointy, sharp stems. They look beautiful, but they also have the power to cut you! I also saw a sword in relation to the rose spirit 🗡️.
And this idea of roses being connected to warriors leads into my next section…
3. Connections to Queen Maeve and St. Christopher
I kept hearing “Maeve” and this led me to the Celtic myth of Queen Maeve.
Maeve was very into “war”! And considered herself a great warrior.
She is also considered to be the goddess of sovereignty and territoriality.
She’s this beautiful woman, yet is very tough and can cause pain…like roses…
I never heard of or read about Queen Maeve before, so the war connection was def interesting.
I also kept hearing “Saint Christopher” and I have no idea who this is, so I looked him up.
He apparently was the saint who carried Jesus across a dangerous river:
And is considered as a martyr and is often worshipped by soliders, sailors and people who have to navigate danger:
This, to me goes back to the energy of roses. This warrior spirit 🗡️. There is strength in roses. I also see it as representing sacrifice.
So…roses could be connected to these mythological figures!
This is also a weird side note, but Saint Christoper was said to have the head of a dog:
and just like how I believe lion people are associated with blue, I’m starting to think dog people are associated with green. So that’s another checkmark for my theory ✅ LOL.
4. Death & re-birth
I saw dead roses being sort of “thrown” on the floor.
I also heard “kaliyuga”, which I didn’t know about, but when I looked it up it’s the name in Hinduism for the final “age” of the birth-death cycle of the planet.
And “kaliyuga” is the final age, when everything gets crazy and chaotic. The final moments before death, you could say.
A dead rose could be seen as a fallen warrior.
I also saw rose petals being thrown at a wedding.
This would be a “birth”.
So it seems roses very much symbolize death and re-birth. As most plants do!
5. Purity
So I wanted to know what effect roses can have on our energy.
I got that it “cleans” and “purifies” us, energetically.
I also got references to sleep and purifying our dreams. So roses might be able to protect us while we sleep!
6. How to use roses
I wanted to know how we can best use roses to spiritually cleanse us…
I was hearing that one of the best way to get the full benefits of roses was to either eat them or consume them in a tea.
**Actually consuming essence of rose or a rose tea is the best way to get the strongest effects.
(Oh! By the way, I am going to be testing rose tea for 30 days soon! And will post the energetic effects I feel 🌹.)
You can also “clean” yourself with the essence of roses. So…add some rose water or rose oil to your bath…clean yourself with soap made with authentic rose oil.
Also…I heard “nose” and…”noggin”. This to me points to the idea that sniffing roses can maybe re-wire something in your brain.
In my experience, Alexis’ flower remedies absolutely heal pathways in your brain.
Read my review if you haven’t already, I go super in-depth into how the flowers actually do the healing!
Maybe every time we spray ourselves with rose water and sniff it, we’re getting our neurons balanced or something??

Takeaways
Maybe this is my MM talking but there is definitely something special about roses…
I think I will start on my rose tea experiment and see what kind of effects I can feel in my heart 💚.
Blog UPDATE: I am about to start my final year of school (Im studying TV and film)! This year I get to do a big writing project and am thinking of writing a novel based on the spiritual experiences I’ve had 🤔.
I’m going to be posting a podcast episode on the 3 energy centers (mind, heart, womb) and how I balance them.
I am also continuing my color research which was triggered by my discovery of the blue color ray/stream.
Thank you for reading! If you have any suggestions for these channeled explorations, send me a message either here on Substack or on Instagram.
Bonus: Why are roses associated with Mary Magdalene?
