I wanted to do a quick blog post about this “manifestation method” that has really been working!
I will often hear manifestation teachers saying things like, you have to “act as if” or…you have to really “know” you’ll have it and it will come.
I’m just saying… easier said than done. Especially if you are someone with a very active mind (like me). This is why I’m always looking for physical techniques to manifest, to really ground the belief into me and into my reality.
So… I wanted to share a manifestation technique on how to physicalize your manifestations into your current life. And it really does work!
It’s simply this:
You have to commit to keeping your manifestation NEAR YOU pretty much 24/7 or as often as you remember.
So, for example… if you wanted to manifest a romantic partner, you would always imagine them kind of sitting near you.
So, if you’re working at home, you picture them in your periphery, sitting there.
If you are walking down the street you picture them simply walking beside you.
If you want a dog or cat, you picture them near you all the time, sitting near your feet etc…
The caveat is that you don’t want to picture interacting with it or touching it, this is more about how YOU feel and how YOU act from having the manifestation in your periphery. Imagining scenarios of interacting with the manifestation will take you out of the moment and your own feelings. You want to keep the focus on yourself and be fully present in your body.
After imaging your manifestation in your periphery you will notice that you will start naturally behaving or moving differently.
For example, you might find yourself picking things up off the floor so the dog or cat doesn’t chew it. If your romantic partner is always nearby, you might walk taller or dress differently, things like that.
You might even be annoyed at times, but that’s part of it. When you do actually attract the manifestation into your reality, there will be moments where you’re annoyed, so just let yourself go with it.
It’s not about planning it all out, but FEELING it in your periphery and then letting your body react. Don’t overthink it, the only thing you have to remember is keeping the manifestation in your physical space. That’s all.
So, to reiterate, all it is is… 1. placing the manifestation in your periphery and keeping it there throughout the whole day.
2. Because it’s in your periphery, you will naturally start to react to it.
3. The way you move about your day will be different BECAUSE the manifestation is always near you. Let it happen and unfold naturally!
4. Don’t touch or interact with it, just keep it nearby
This process will also help you get ready for when the manifestation does finally arrive. You will already be in these new habits.
Here are some ideas on how to “physicalize” certain manifestations.
To manifest a romantic partner: simply imagine them near you as much as possible.
To manifest a pet: imagine them sitting at your feet or near you.
To manifest more money: imagine a highly valuable item, like a block of gold on a table in your house. Decide exactly “where” it is being stored and how much it’s worth.
To manifest a sea-side getaway: imagine the ocean is a few blocks away from where you live.
To manifest your dream career: imagine that you live a few blocks away from your workplace. Always have this in mind. In my case it would be living near the theatre district like in New York or London! You could also imagine one of your co-workers or collaborators near you (like what you would do with a romantic partner), although, they wouldn’t be around you 24/7, so choose opportune moments throughout the day to place them near you.
To manifest a publishing deal: imagine your published book on your own book shelf. Decide what type of book it will be, what genre etc…you could also imagine a box of your published books in your house to give away as gifts, decide exactly where it is! You could also choose a person to place near you that has to do with the book deal, could be an agent you are working with or an editor, same as above, they wouldn’t be with you 24/7 but choose a time of day that they are, could be meeting with them in public or on the phone, email etc…
Notes
In general I find it easier to imagine “live” things near me like a person or the ocean as opposed to inanimate objects because it just feels more dynamic and active (as opposed to a book on the shelf that doesn’t move).
What’s important with this method is to stay FOCUSED. Ideally all day everyday!! It’s not so hard, because it’s just you stepping into this new energy of what it would be like to be living with this new object, person, career etc…you have to really feel it near you all the time. You can still live your live normally, that’s why I’m saying to not interact with it, just keep it nearby :)
What I find also helps is to do research on what this manifestation will be like. If for example you want to work with an editor, you should look at videos of what editors are like, what their process is and what their personalities are usually like. You could also pick a specific person as a template to help you physicalize.
I also find it hard to focus on multiple things at once. So just choose the thing that you want to manifest the most and I’m sure everything will fall into place :)
