In this reading we’re going to look into the root causes/energetic causes of PCOS and hormonal imbalance specifically in women. Also, natural remedies to help bring things into balance!

1. Root causes
So, I’m not technically diagnosed with PCOS, but I know that I have hormonal imbalance in some ways and have experienced some of the symptoms before.
Symptoms of PCOS:
I asked “what is the cause of PCOS and hormonal imbalance?”. Here is what I got:
Emotional causes: shame, fear and abuse.
Also, “how you were raised” plays a big role. If you were raised in a home that evoked fear in you, that is causing a base-line of stress in your body.
“Bad digestion” is also a cause and stress can kind of “halt” your digestion. Also, if your digestive tract is injured, you won’t be able to digest all your nutrients and your hormones will fall out of whack.
2. Recommended foods
“Eggs”, “soups w/ meat, bone broth etc…”.
I have made bone broth in the past and it’s so good, but takes so long to make.
Lately I have been making a basic beef stock soup by simmering meat on the bone (like beef shanks) with vegetables and salt for around 4 hours and just have that as a soup and it’s great! You get some minerals from the bones and it’s a good way to get absorbable nutrients.
I also saw a lot of “red fruit juices”: pomegranate, raspberry, cranberry and red currant juice!
This is interesting…
According to the study, it would only take 1/4 cup of juice per day to see effects.
Also, “butter”, “coconut” (butter, oil, milk, cream etc…) and wheatgrass (so, wheatgrass in any form, juice or powder etc…)
Green juices and chlorophyll ‘cleans’ the blood, I talked about this in my water post.
You want to focus on these foods and of course reduce processed food, sugar, refined “white” starches like white flour etc…
